USA terminates participation in 66 international organizations. Trump signed the document.
In an official statement, it is emphasized that many of these organizations support radical climate initiatives, global governance, and ideological programs that, in the administration's view, contradict the interests of the United States and their economic power.
Although the White House did not publish a complete list of organizations, it was noted that American taxpayers have "spent billions" of dollars supporting these international structures, receiving "minimal returns" in return.
The president's press service also reminded that at the beginning of Donald Trump's second term, the U.S. had already withdrawn from several significant organizations, such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Paris Climate Agreement, the UN Human Rights Council, and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
