
In the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, the opening of 20 new schools is planned by September 1. This was announced by the director of the education department of the mayor's office, Rakhmat Musaev, in an interview with the "Kabar" agency.
According to Musaev, the construction of these educational institutions is currently being financed from the republican budget. Of the total number of 20 schools, 11 are additional buildings to existing educational institutions, while 9 are new schools being built from scratch.
"All new facilities must be ready by the start of the school year. Currently, there are 120 schools operating in Bishkek, attended by 259,710 students," she added.
