Deputy Minister of Education of Kyrgyzstan Nadira Jusupbekova stated at a press conference at the "Kabar" agency that this year, student enrollment in schools will only be conducted for the first grade.
She noted that last year, registration was conducted for both the first and second grades as part of the transition to a 12-year education system. These changes were temporary and were related to the reform of the educational structure.
