WorldSkills regional competitions have started in Kyrgyzstan



On March 26, the third regional WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan competitions began in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Ministry of Education.
The competition is taking place in Bishkek at the professional lyceums No. 18 and No. 27, focusing on competencies such as "Fashion Technology," "Culinary Arts," and "Welding Technologies." Similar competitions are also being held in Karakol, where Deputy Minister of Education Albert Makhmetkulov attended the opening.

This stage includes participants from Bishkek, as well as from Chui, Talas, Issyk-Kul, and Naryn regions. The southern region will hold its competitions on March 30-31 in Osh.

Those who take prize places at the regional level will have the opportunity to compete in the national WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan championship, scheduled for April 13-17, 2026. Based on its results, a national team will be formed to participate in the international WorldSkills championship, which will take place in Shanghai in 2026.

The organizers of these competitions are the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic and the public fund WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan.
