From March 26 to 31, the third stage of the regional competitions of WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan will take place. This is an important step in selecting participants for the upcoming national tournament and international competitions in professional skills.
According to the Ministry of Education, these competitions will cover all regions of the country and gather the best students and young specialists from the vocational education system.
According to the information:
- In Bishkek and the Issyk-Kul region, the competitions will take place on March 26 (participants from Bishkek, Chui and Talas regions, as well as Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions);
- Competitions are scheduled for March 30-31 in Osh, where representatives from Osh, Batken, and Jalal-Abad regions will participate.
Participants will be able to demonstrate their skills in the following key competencies:
* welding technologies
* fashion and textiles
* culinary arts
The winners of these regional selections will have the opportunity to compete in the national championship WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan, which will be held from April 13 to 17, 2026.
Based on the results of the national tournament, a team from Kyrgyzstan will be formed to participate in the 48th International WorldSkills Championship, which will take place from September 22 to 27, 2026, in Shanghai (China). It is expected that representatives from over 60 countries will participate in the competitions.
As part of the preparation for the regional stage, the public fund WorldSkills Kyrgyzstan is organizing training for experts according to international WorldSkills standards.
Specialized training sessions are scheduled for March 23-24, 2026, after which participants will receive certificates valid for one year.
