In Jalal-Abad, the results of the regional head's subject olympiad were announced for the first time.

In the city of Jalal-Abad, the first subject Olympiad for schoolchildren was held, organized by local authorities, reports Turmush correspondent.

At today's ceremony, the presidential representative of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Jalal-Abad region, Tilek Tekebaev, congratulated the winners and presented them with prizes.

In this two-day intellectual competition, 147 students participated, selected from 4,528 students who passed preliminary stages from all districts and cities of the region.

The participants tested their knowledge in six subjects: mathematics, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, and computer science.

During the awards ceremony, Tekebaev emphasized the importance of intellectual competitions, which help to increase youth interest in education and provide an opportunity to reveal their talents.

The organization of the Olympiad and the prize fund amounted to 1,050,000 soms, allocated from the reserve fund of local authorities. A large portion of these funds was used to reward the winners and conduct the event.

During the formal part, 18 winners of the Olympiad received diplomas, as well as prizes in the form of phones, televisions, and tablets. Additionally, 17 teachers whose students took prize-winning places were awarded letters of appreciation and cash bonuses.

The International University named after K. Toktomamatov in Manas also offered the winners special educational benefits. Students who took first place were awarded certificates for a 100% discount on tuition, second place received a 50% discount, and third place received a 30% discount.
