He noted that last year, 38 students advanced to the republican stage.
“The regional stage of the olympiad took place at the Sapat boys' lyceum named after Kurmanbek Batyr and the girls' lyceum named after Zuura Nurmatova in the city,” he reported.
A total of 312 schoolchildren from various districts and cities participated in this stage, testing their knowledge in 17 subjects.
As a result of the competition, 37 students earned the opportunity to participate in the republican olympiad, and the winners were awarded,” added Sh. Ergeshov.
He also emphasized that at the republican stage of the olympiad last academic year, 38 students from the region participated, three of whom became prize winners.
It should be noted that there are 479 schools operating in the Jalal-Abad region, of which 455 are state schools. They educate 297,226 students.
