As part of this initiative, 146,000 soms were allocated for the purchase of literature, resulting in the library being replenished with 280 new copies. "Starting today, our readers can familiarize themselves with the new arrivals. The majority of them are fiction chosen based on the preferences of our visitors. We encourage all book lovers to visit the library to broaden their horizons," Keldibaeva noted.
Currently, the total volume of the book collection at the Ak-Suy District Library named after Chyngyz Aitmatov is 45,807 books. The update of the collection aims to stimulate interest in reading among the youth and support literary traditions in the region.
