Among these facilities, 76 are new, and major renovations were carried out in 41 educational institutions.
As a result of these construction activities, it was possible to create 17,000 additional places for students.
According to Baysalov, over the past five years, from 2021 to 2025, 673 facilities have been completed, including 394 schools and 147 kindergartens, as well as major renovations of 114 schools and 18 kindergartens.
Currently, there are 2,394 general education schools in Kyrgyzstan, with 1,536,633 students enrolled. This is 45,800 more compared to the previous year, 2024.
