
Today, January 28, marks the fifth anniversary of Sadyr Japarov taking office as President of Kyrgyzstan. During this time, significant work has been carried out under his leadership in the field of education.
According to the Ministry of Education, the priority has been the development and modernization of social infrastructure.
From 2021 to 2025, the construction and reconstruction of 673 educational institutions were completed. These include: 394 new schools, 147 kindergartens, as well as major repairs of 114 schools and 18 kindergartens.
Annual statistics:
2021 — 101 facilities completed:
- 67 schools and 21 kindergartens built.
- Major repairs completed in 11 schools and 2 kindergartens.
2022 — 75 facilities completed:
- Construction: 50 schools and 10 kindergartens.
- Major repairs: 11 schools and 4 kindergartens.
2023 — 159 facilities completed:
- 124 schools and 16 kindergartens built.
- Major repairs conducted in 19 schools.
2024 — 175 facilities completed:
- 77 schools and 59 kindergartens built.
- Major repairs: 32 schools and 7 kindergartens.
2025 — 163 facilities completed:
- 76 schools and 41 kindergartens built.
- Major repairs: 41 schools and 5 kindergartens.
