Bakmurat Saparaaliev from Talas won silver at the international English language olympiad.
He has been actively attending English language courses for three months.
“The teachers noted that he is a determined and diligent student who shows interest in learning. They inspired him to participate in the international Olympiad, which greatly intrigued him,” says his mother.
The Olympiad took place from January 31 to February 1 at one of the universities in Bishkek, where strong students gathered. A total of about 600 people participated in the republic. Over two days, Bakmurat secured 2nd place, which earned him a silver medal and a certificate for participation in the Olympiad in London or Abu Dhabi.
Bakmurat was not upset about the second place. He said, “This will motivate me for further success; I need to study harder.”
In the future, Bakmurat dreams of mastering the English language professionally, traveling, and, like the late Chubak Azhy, teaching people the basics of religion and becoming a theologian.
“To make this dream come true, our son must work hard. His father and I are trying to help him with this. We believe that his wishes will come true, and he will be useful to our people,” emphasized Z. Kozubekova.
