The Rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University spoke at the forum "Finance and Digital Transformation" in Dushanbe

The Rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Abdilbayet Mamasidikov, participated in an international conference organized on January 24 by the Research Financial Institute under the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan.

At the conference, he delivered a substantive report.

The forum took place at the National Library of Tajikistan in the city of Dushanbe and gathered leading scholars, experts, representatives of government bodies, and specialists in the financial sector from Tajikistan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

During the event, Rector A. Mamasidikov delivered a welcoming speech, noting that the digital transformation of the financial system today is one of the key factors in ensuring the economic stability of states.

According to him, digital technologies enhance transparency, timeliness, and efficiency in financial management, while simultaneously requiring investments in human capital.

In his speech, the rector emphasized the particular importance of developing financial-digital literacy for Central Asian countries, noting that economic growth and the acceleration of business processes directly depend on the training of personnel in this area.

During the forum, issues related to the expansion of cashless payments, the development of the securities market in the digital environment, Islamic financing, green financing, and the application of digital technologies in the management of public finances were widely discussed.

In particular, it was noted that Islamic financing contributes to the development of entrepreneurship and support for small and medium-sized businesses, while green financing is aimed at promoting environmentally friendly investment projects. It was also emphasized that the development of the securities market opens new opportunities for regional economies.

As a result of the forum, in order to strengthen international scientific and practical cooperation, the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University signed a cooperation agreement with the Research Financial Institute under the Ministry of Finance of Tajikistan.

This forum made a significant contribution to strengthening the international ties of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University and developing academic and practical cooperation in the field of finance and digital economy.
