At the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic named after J. Abdrakhmanov, they commented on the directive from the Antimonopoly Regulation Service regarding the return of 13 million soms to students.

At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development, held on January 27, the director of the State Agency for Antimonopoly Regulation, Zhenaly Orozbaev, reported that the University named after Jusup Abdrakhmanov was instructed to return the specified amount to the students.

According to the university, this directive concerns graduates of the bachelor's program who studied at the Academy from 2020 to 2024.

Academy representatives noted that during the entire specified period, no complaints or grievances regarding the quality of education were received from students. The university fully met its obligations within the framework of the educational process, and all students who successfully completed their studies received state-standard diplomas.

The Academy also emphasized that since 2014, the cost of contract education for bachelor's students has remained at 46,000 soms per year and will not change. This is related to the decision to close enrollment for the bachelor's program in 2025. The Academy adheres to the principles of social responsibility and does not intend to raise tuition fees for the remaining students.
