In Bishkek, from March 1 to May 1, 2026, a competition called "Clean City" will take place, aimed at collecting plastic waste. This was reported by the press service of the Jogorku Kenesh.
The winner will be the school that collects the maximum amount of plastic waste, and its participants will receive valuable prizes.
This project is being implemented with the support of various organizations, including the Jogorku Kenesh, the Bishkek city administration, the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, as well as the Red Crescent Society of Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, the chairman of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliev, promised to provide financial support from his reserve fund.
