In Bishkek, the impact of climate change on the health of livestock communities was discussed

In Bishkek, a consultative meeting was held where the first results of the project "Impact of Climate Change on the Health of Pastoral Communities in Kyrgyzstan (ICCHP)" were presented, as reported by the public foundation "Ilbirs."
This research is being conducted using a "One Health" approach and aims to analyze the impact of climate change on the health of pastoral communities across the country, as well as to identify key risk factors.
During the meeting, participants were presented with preliminary findings from the first phase of the project, important results were discussed, and recommendations were gathered from experts for preparing the next phase of the research.
The event was attended by representatives from government bodies, academic circles, international organizations, and specialized institutions.
As a result of the discussions, it is planned to identify priority areas for future research and collaboration, as well as to prepare recommendations for decision-makers.
