A meeting dedicated to the digitalization of the geological sector was held in Bishkek, chaired by the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision, Meder Mashiev. The meeting discussed preparations for the implementation of the information system "Nedra" in test mode.

According to the department, as part of the digitalization initiative, a geological information system "Nedra" is being developed at the Kyrgyz Geological Service. The project encompasses the functional capabilities of the system and assesses its readiness for practical application.
It was also emphasized that key attention will be paid to the integration of the system into the work of the geological service and its effective application in the field of subsoil use.

“Currently, the system 'Nedra' is in the testing phase. Its implementation will improve the accounting of geological data, increase the transparency of processes, and enhance the quality of public services provided in the field of geology,” the department stated.

The system is being developed by JSC "Tündük." One of the significant advantages is the ability to obtain geological services and submit applications online for both individuals and legal entities.
