In Naryn Region, 39 Drunk Drivers Detained in One Week
This was reported by the Traffic Safety Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Naryn region.
According to the agency, from March 23 to March 30, a total of 916 violations of traffic rules were recorded in the Naryn region.
141 vehicles were impounded. Violation statistics:
— 221 cases of non-compliance with traffic signs;
— 14 violations of stopping and parking rules;
— 156 drivers operated vehicles without seatbelts fastened;
— 22 cases of driving without passing a technical inspection;
— 3 violations related to operating vehicles with technical malfunctions that prohibit movement;
— 20 drivers operated vehicles without the necessary documents;
— 21 cases of driving without a license;
— 109 cases of speeding;
— 41 cases of installing additional equipment on vehicles;
— 20 cases of driving in the opposite lane;
— 13 violations related to illegal window tinting;
— 70 cases of driving without an insurance policy;
— 2 cases of auto hooliganism;
— 8 cases of disobedience to lawful demands of officers;
— 5 instances of running a red light;
— 30 violations of traffic rules by pedestrians.
These activities were conducted as part of a raid called "Bacchus" in the Naryn region.
