According to the investigation, the suspect used deception, posing as an employee of the GKNB, to gain the trust of people and promise them solutions to various problems. For example, from one resident of Kyrgyzstan, he received $24,100 and 100,000 soms, assuring her that he could release her son from the pre-trial detention center (SIZO-1).
In another case, in September 2025, he offered a citizen of Kyrgyzstan to organize a trip for Vietnamese workers to a sewing workshop. On this basis, he swindled $14,000 and then disappeared with the money.
Currently, investigative and operational activities are ongoing. The GKNB urges anyone who may have fallen victim to the actions of the detained individual to contact the duty service at the phone number: 0312 88 83 52.
