A citizen of Azerbaijan named A.S. was detained in Bishkek for posing as an employee of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic. He was arrested as part of a criminal case related to large-scale fraud and placed in the temporary detention facility of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the security services, one citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic filed a complaint against a man named Sahab. She reported that he, posing as an employee of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic, promised to help release her son, who was in custody at the pre-trial detention center 1, and deceitfully took possession of 24,100 US dollars and 100,000 soms.
Additionally, law enforcement received a complaint from another citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic. He reported that in early September 2025, at the intersection of Erkindik Boulevard and Jibek-Jolu Avenue in Bishkek, near the Bishkek Petroleum gas station, Sahab, posing as an active national security employee, deceitfully took possession of 14,000 US dollars, promising to bring Vietnamese citizens for employment in a sewing workshop.
After receiving the funds, this man did not fulfill his obligations and disappeared, continuing to give various excuses regarding the return of the money.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing in this case.
