According to information provided by the agency, the detainee, being one of the key shareholders and the actual owner of the company, deliberately misled investors. "Understanding that he did not have sufficient finances to conduct construction activities, he attracted funds by offering as collateral assets that had already been sold to third parties. This scheme, known as 'double sales,' led to significant material damage for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan," the press release states.
The criminal case was initiated based on numerous statements from victims. Initially, the suspect was declared internationally wanted, and on March 24, he was detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB KR.
