Suspicion of serious fraud
The CEO of OJSC 'Orgtekhstroy', who was wanted, has been detained, as reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to law enforcement agencies, I.K.M., born in 1968, is suspected of committing fraud on a particularly large scale.
“Being one of the leading shareholders and the actual owner of OJSC 'Orgtekhstroy', he deliberately deceived investors. Aware of the lack of funds for the implementation of construction projects, he attracted financing by offering as collateral company assets that had already been sold to other parties. This scheme, known as 'double sales', caused significant financial damage to the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic,” the GKNB reported.
A criminal case has been initiated based on numerous collective complaints from victims. The suspect was previously placed on an international wanted list.
At the moment, the detainee has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
