In connection with the case of "Kyrgyzneftegaz," Nurgazy Nishanov, who previously held the position of deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, and Nazgul Aydarova were detained. This became known from sources in law enforcement agencies.
According to sources, Nishanov, who is the chairman of the board of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz," and Aydarova, the head of the company "Region Oil," were placed in the temporary detention facility after being interrogated as part of a criminal case regarding corruption.
It is worth noting that a criminal case was previously initiated in the Ministry of Internal Affairs under Article 336 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic "Corruption," concerning possible violations in the activities of OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz."
