
On March 13, a tragic incident occurred in Bishkek, near a banquet hall on Kozhomberdieva Street. Inside a car, one of the men shot himself in the head.
According to information provided by the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Department of the capital, the body of a 42-year-old man named K.K. was found in the cabin of a GAC vehicle with a gunshot wound.
During the inspection of the crime scene, law enforcement officers seized a smoothbore shotgun "Izh-18" of 12 mm caliber, 13 cartridges, a shell casing, two mobile phones (iPhone-15 and Redmi), as well as a suicide note and other evidence.
According to preliminary data from the forensic examination, gunshot wounds were found on the deceased's body in the chest area. An additional forensic examination has been appointed for a more accurate assessment of the injuries.
Police representatives suggest that financial difficulties related to debt obligations may have been the cause of the suicide.
A criminal case has already been initiated under Article 128, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and necessary investigative actions are currently being conducted.
