According to information provided by Turmush, on March 13, 2026, at approximately 07:20, a collision occurred on the 386 km of the highway between a Hyundai Sonata passenger car and a DAF fuel truck. The fuel truck was heading towards the city of Osh, while the Hyundai Sonata was en route to Bishkek.
At the scene of the accident, a female passenger of the Hyundai died, and the driver, a young man, was urgently transported to the intensive care unit of the Kara-Kul Center for General Medical Practice. Unfortunately, the injuries he sustained were fatal, and he also passed away.
During the investigation, it was established that the driver of the fuel truck was a citizen K.M., born in 1977, from the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region. The driver of the Hyundai was S.K., born in 1996, residing in the Kok-Zhar microdistrict of Bishkek.
The female passenger of the Hyundai was B.A., born in 2008, a resident of Kara-Kul.
As a result of this tragic incident, a young man and a young woman lost their lives. An investigation into the traffic accident is currently underway.
