During the investigation of corruption crimes in state enterprises, facts of embezzlement and misappropriation of budget funds were revealed. The investigation believes that B.P. and N.M., using their official powers, misappropriated about 5 million 213 thousand 900 soms.
It was found that for nine months, the central office of "Kyrgyz Post" transferred funds to the account of the Leilek branch for the purchase of furniture, plastic windows, and modernization of computer equipment. However, in fact, no goods were purchased, and no repair work was carried out.
In addition, the suspects made inflated salary transfers to their subordinates, after which they demanded the excess amounts to be returned in cash, citing alleged technical errors.
Based on the collected evidence, both defendants have been charged under part 4 of paragraph 2 of Article 210 "Embezzlement or misappropriation of entrusted property" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. As a result of the court's decision, they were placed in custody in a pre-trial detention center.
