Kuvanychbek Kongantiev, who previously held the position of a deputy in the Jogorku Kenesh, has become the subject of detention by the employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS). He has been charged with corruption and illegal enrichment.
Currently, Kongantiev is placed in a temporary detention facility under the control of the SCNS.
Recently, a video was published on social media highlighting alleged corruption schemes related to the transfer of municipal lands into private hands. The video mentions that Kongantiev may have been involved in these schemes.
Additionally, a segment has appeared on the YouTube channel "Sayasat KG," which examines the assets of the former deputy. The video claims that 30 plots of land are registered in his mother's name, and his relatives hold shares in numerous companies.
