According to information from the Traffic Police Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, from March 2 to March 9, 2026, there were 8,355 violations of traffic rules registered in the region.
The department also provided detailed data on the most serious offenses recorded by patrol police officers:
- 1,388 cases of speeding;
- 399 violations by pedestrians;
- 105 cases of vehicle operation violations;
- 78 instances of driving without necessary documents;
- 70 cases of driving under the influence of alcohol;
- 58 cases of crossing into oncoming traffic;
- 9 instances of illegal window tinting.
Additionally, in response to various traffic violations, 268 vehicles were placed in specialized impound lots.
