On March 3, around 22:36, the police received a signal about gunshots coming from Novopavlovka. An investigative operational group was dispatched to the scene.
According to law enforcement, a citizen named S.M., born in 1988, was setting off firecrackers while holding a toy gun. This spectacle led witnesses to believe that he was shooting with a real weapon.
A protocol was drawn up against the violator under Article 126 ("Minor Hooliganism") of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic. He was sent to a temporary detention cell.
Police representatives urged the public to maintain public order and refrain from using objects that could be perceived as weapons.
