According to law enforcement officials, the detainee turned out to be a citizen of a neighboring country, L.Y.D., born in 2006. He was caught while carrying the prohibited substances in a brown bag. During the search, over a kilogram of synthetic drugs was seized from him.
A case has been registered, and a criminal case has been initiated against the detainee under Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal manufacture and sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. The seized drugs have been sent for forensic chemical examination.
In addition, law enforcement agencies continue to carry out operational investigative activities to identify other individuals involved in this crime.
