A man offered 100-gram gold bars
In Kyrgyzstan, a man was detained for attempting to bribe an employee of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) with gold. This information was provided by the agency itself.
According to the GKNB, the incident occurred on February 23, 2026. The suspect, identified as "D.R.E", born on May 2, 1978, offered the law enforcement officer two gold bars weighing 200 grams as part of operational-search activities. The bribe was intended for assistance in a criminal case.
The detainee was placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
