In Kyrgyzstan, a man was detained for attempting to offer a bribe in the form of two gold bars weighing 200 grams each to an employee of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB). This information was announced by the press service of the State National Security Committee.

According to available information, this illegal reward was intended to be given in order to achieve a favorable decision regarding a criminal case currently under review.

The preliminary estimated value of the bars is approximately 3 million soms.

According to the security service, the detained individual, born in 1978 and named D.R.E., was arrested on February 23 and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
