According to information from law enforcement agencies, on February 16, 2023, narcotics control officers from the Toktogul district internal affairs department conducted raids aimed at combating crime under the names "Bandit" and "Theft".
During these operations, a vehicle of the brand "VAZ" was stopped for inspection on the Bishkek–Osh highway.
Upon inspecting the vehicle, a substance wrapped in white cellophane with a characteristic odor, weighing 272 grams, was found in its cabin. The substance will be examined during a forensic chemical analysis.
The investigative service of the Toktogul district registered this case in the Unified Register of Crimes under Article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the illegal production of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances without the intent to sell, and initiated a criminal case.
As a result of investigative actions, the suspects were detained: A. A. (born in 1992), K. Z. (also born in 1992), R. S. (1992), and A. uulu K. (born in 1991). The Toktogul district court ordered them to be held in custody for two months.
