One of the victims reported that on January 30, around six in the evening, at the intersection of Chuy Avenue and Shopokov Street, his iPhone 17 Pro Max, valued at 150,000 soms, was stolen.
Based on this incident, a criminal case was initiated under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek managed to detain the suspect, identified as 23-year-old K.B., who had previous convictions and was registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs as an active participant in an organized criminal group and a pickpocket. He was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigative actions, it was revealed that this individual was wanted and was involved in four other thefts. Additionally, he handed over four stolen mobile phones.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
