A tragic incident occurred in Kara-Balta: a freight train hit a young man. The information was provided by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
According to law enforcement, on February 23 at 14:54, a report was received at the Jayil District Police Department that a young man aged 20-25 had been struck by a train. As a result of his injuries, he was transported to a medical facility in a comatose state, where doctors diagnosed him with a traumatic brain injury, contusion of the brain, and chest. Unfortunately, the victim passed away without regaining consciousness.
Police officers arrived at the scene and established that freight train No. 3718, which was traveling on the Bishkek–Lugovoe route, hit a local resident born in 2009, named S.R.
An investigation is currently underway, and necessary examinations have been appointed.
