The incident began on February 4, when one of the residents of the capital approached the police. He reported that on January 17, he sold 8 sheep for a total of 134,000 soms. The buyer made an initial payment of 60,000 soms, promising to transfer the remaining amount within two hours, but failed to keep his promise.
This case was registered in accordance with Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to fraud.
As a result of operational measures, the police detained the suspect, who turned out to be 38-year-old K.B. The court decided to keep him in custody at the pre-trial detention center for a period of two months.
During the investigation, his involvement in other similar crimes was established.
