An attempt was made to illegally export livestock worth one million soms from Kyrgyzstan

Today, February 19, an attempt was made to illegally export 36 sheep to Tajikistan from Kyrgyzstan. The truck driver, noticing the border guards, began to maneuver to evade capture. A car accompanying the truck attempted to obstruct the actions of the military personnel and help the offenders escape. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The situation began to unfold when the border guards noticed a Volkswagen Crafter moving along the state border. The driver ignored commands to stop and attempted to flee. At the same time, a second vehicle, a SsangYong Rexton Sports, created obstacles for the border guards, trying to ensure the safe passage of the truck.

However, thanks to the prompt actions of the military personnel, both vehicles were blocked and detained in the village of Dostuk.

During the inspection, 36 sheep were found in the Volkswagen Crafter, being transported without the necessary veterinary and accompanying documents. The preliminary value of the livestock is about one million soms.

Three residents of the Batken region were detained on suspicion of organizing and assisting in the illegal transportation: G. S. K. (born in 1984), T. R. U. (born in 1983), and N. K. K. (born in 1984).

The materials regarding the attempt to illegally export livestock have been transferred to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
