The detention of Nasira Beishebaeva, a candidate of medical sciences and associate professor, has raised serious concerns among the staff of the National Center for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood.
Doctors and colleagues of Beishebaeva expressed worry about the moral state of the team and patients, noting that her work has a significant impact on the development of healthcare in the country. Nasira Beishebaeva, who is the chief freelance pediatric nephrologist and transplantologist, has made an invaluable contribution to pediatric nephrology in Kyrgyzstan and actively participates in the development of key strategies of the Ministry of Health regarding transplantation.
Employees of the NCPCM addressed President Sadyr Japarov with a request to conduct a comprehensive and fair investigation into the situation, adhering to all legislative norms.
Additionally, they request that no preventive measure in the form of detention be applied to Beishebaeva, considering that she is a mother of two small children and cares for her mother.
Currently, the Ministry of Health is not providing comments on this situation, and the head of the NCPCM is unavailable for clarification. The reasons for the doctor's detention remain unknown.
