Border guards at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border thwarted an attempt to illegally transport 10 head of cattle.
According to reports, the incident occurred in the Leylek area, in the "Tajik Nasos" region, near the border. The border patrol detained a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, N.E.M., born in 1988.
It was revealed that the detainee intended to transport cattle from Kyrgyz territory to Tajik territory, bypassing official checkpoints.
During the inspection, 10 heads of cattle were found, which were apparently intended for illegal transportation across the border.
The detainee and the cattle were taken to the Border Service unit for further investigation and procedural processing in accordance with current legislation.
