On February 14, an attempt to illegally drive cattle across the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan was stopped. This information was received from the State Border Service.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the Leylek area, in the "Tajik Nasos" region, near the border. The border patrol detained a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, N.E.M., born in 1988.

It was revealed that the detainee intended to transport cattle from Kyrgyz territory to Tajik territory, bypassing official checkpoints.

During the inspection, 10 heads of cattle were found, which were apparently intended for illegal transportation across the border.

The detainee and the cattle were taken to the Border Service unit for further investigation and procedural processing in accordance with current legislation.
