A call to service 102 was received from a resident of Bishkek, who reported that in a house on Matyiev Street, his niece and other young women were using drugs provided by their acquaintance. He expressed concern and asked the police to check the situation.
During the investigation, it was established that various types of drugs were indeed being used in the specified house, as confirmed by the results of a medical examination. Evidence indicating the incitement to drug use was also found.
This incident was registered under Article 287 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which pertains to inciting drug use, as well as public calls and advertising of drugs.
The suspect, 31-year-old K.Zh., was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Further investigation is currently underway.
