
In Bishkek, law enforcement officers arrested a man suspected of involving girls in drug use.
According to the Interior Ministry of the Lenin District, a report of the crime was received through the emergency call service "102". The applicant reported that an unknown young man was offering drugs to girls at a house on Matyiev Street, and his niece, who was at that address, also became a victim.
Arriving at the scene, police officers confirmed the information received. As a result of the arrest, three individuals were taken to the police station: two girls and a young man.
During the investigation, it was found that various types of drugs were being used in the specified premises, which was documented in a medical examination report.
Based on this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 287 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning the enticement to consume narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, and their analogs, as well as public calls for their use and drug advertising.
The suspect, born in 1992 and named K.J., was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The investigation is ongoing.
Law enforcement agencies emphasize that involvement in drug use entails criminal liability.
