
According to information provided by the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs, a call was received at the duty station via service 102. The caller reported that an unknown young man was offering girls a narcotic substance — mephedrone — in one of the houses on Matyiev Street. The report was made by the aunt of one of the girls who was at the specified address and reported the drug offer.
A police team arrived at the scene and confirmed the information. As a result, three people were detained: two girls and a young man.
During the investigation, it was revealed that various narcotic substances were used in this house, which was documented by a medical examination report. Evidence indicating the enticement to drug use was also collected.

The investigative service of the Lenin District Department of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal case under Article 287 "Enticement to the use of narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, their analogs, and potent substances, as well as public calls for their use and advertising" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect, K.Z., born in 1992, has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital in accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The investigation is ongoing.
Law enforcement agencies remind that criminal liability arises not only for the illegal circulation and use of drugs but also for enticing others to use them. They also urge citizens to be attentive to their surroundings and parents to monitor their children's lifestyle and social circle, paying attention to possible warning signs.
