The complainant stated that on January 22, 2024, he purchased 16 acres of land in the village of Selektsiya for the amount of $200,000. It later turned out that the sale was conducted by individuals who were not the owners. As a result, it was decided to return the money; however, only $57,500 was returned, while the remaining 12,281,156 soms have not been refunded.
This case has been registered in accordance with Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Police officers detained the suspect, whose identity has been established as U.M., born in 1985. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The identity of another accomplice has also been established, who is currently wanted.
The investigation is ongoing.
