According to information from the regional Internal Affairs Department, the aim of this raid was to curb the criminal activities of individuals registered as members of organized crime groups. As a result of the operation, four people were brought to the Balykchy Internal Affairs Department for verification of their involvement in offenses.
Within the framework of a criminal case initiated under Article 205 of the Criminal Code ("Theft"), the police conducted a series of authorized searches at addresses associated with criminal elements.
During a search at the residence of a 39-year-old man with the initials M.N., who is listed as a member of an organized crime group, a smoothbore firearm of 12-gauge was found and seized. A forensic ballistic examination has been appointed.
During the search at the home of another organized crime group member, S.M., born in 1963, a 32-year-old citizen named S.A. was discovered.
It was established that the detained S.A. had been officially wanted since 2021 by the Internal Affairs Department of the Pervomaisky District of Bishkek. He is suspected of large-scale fraud. For a long time, he managed to evade capture; however, using operational data, he was apprehended in Balykchy.
By the decision of the Pervomaisky District Court, the detainee has been placed in a temporary detention facility. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing regarding both cases.
