
In the Talas region, several crimes related to cattle theft were uncovered as part of the raid operations "Bandit" and "Arsenal." This was reported by the press service of the regional police department.
According to the information, on February 1, a citizen named J.N., born in 1973, reported to the police about the theft of two calves from his barn on the night of January 22-23. He requested the law enforcement agencies to identify the culprits and take necessary measures.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph 4 of part 3 of article 205-1 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic (cattle theft), and investigative actions were started.
During the operational search activities, a group of two criminals involved in cattle thefts in the region was identified. The suspect J.R., born in 1985, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. He is a resident of the Aitmatov district.
During the interrogation, J.R. confessed that he committed the crimes together with T.N., born in 1981, also a resident of the Aitmatov district. Currently, T.N.'s whereabouts are unknown, and he is wanted.
During the investigation, J.R.'s involvement in other cattle thefts was established. His participation in 12 episodes of crimes was confirmed. Urgent searches were conducted to locate the stolen animals, resulting in the discovery of 14 heads of cattle in the home of the suspect's relatives. Of these, three cows and 11 calves were returned to their rightful owners.
The victims expressed their gratitude to the police officers for their quick and effective work.
