According to official data, the detained individual, M.I., born in 1989, is wanted internationally for crimes classified under Articles 228.1 (illegal trafficking of drugs in large or especially large quantities involving a group of individuals by prior agreement) and 210 (organization of a criminal community) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
The operation to detain him, named "Bandit," was carried out by the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan in collaboration with Interpol.
The agency noted that the detained individual is part of an organized criminal group that was involved in the distribution of narcotic substances through online stores in various cities of Russia.
At the moment, the man has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
