The detention was the result of Operation "Bandit," conducted on February 13 by the Drug Control Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation with Interpol and the Special Operations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the capital of Kyrgyzstan.
According to information from the press service of the Drug Control Service, I.M.M. was wanted for crimes related to the illegal drug trade, under articles 228.1 (illegal sale of narcotic substances in large or especially large quantities by a group of individuals by prior agreement) and 210 (organization of a criminal community) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
This individual is a member of an organized criminal group that was distributing drugs through online stores in various cities of Russia.
Currently, the detainee is placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
