In Osh, fake police conducted searches in a massage parlor and extorted money for "protection"

According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a person impersonating a police officer has been detained in Osh.

Three men entered a massage parlor, posing as law enforcement officials. Without presenting any identification, they conducted illegal searches and used force against the owner of the establishment.

The criminals seized 32,000 soms and demanded additional money. One of them, calling himself "Marcel," received an additional 15,000 soms and also began to regularly receive transfers of 10,000 soms to his electronic wallet, under the guise of promises of "protection." As a result, the total amount of damage amounted to 77,000 soms.

Based on the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 (Extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Employees of the Internal Investigation Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one of the suspects, born in 1993, named K. уулу N., while he was receiving another sum of money.

It has been established that the detained individual has no connection to law enforcement agencies and is suspected of committing other similar crimes.

He has been placed in a temporary detention facility of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Osh.

Operational search activities are ongoing regarding the other two suspects.

Investigative actions are continuing.
