The criminal, who introduced himself as "Marcel," received an additional 15,000 soms from the owner, promising protection, after which he began receiving weekly transfers of 10,000 soms to his electronic wallet. In total, the amount of damage amounted to 77,000 soms.
In connection with the above-mentioned fact, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 208 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational search activities, employees of the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained one of the suspects — citizen K. uulu N., born in 1993, while receiving another sum of money.
It has been established that the detainee has no connection to law enforcement agencies and is also suspected of committing other similar crimes.
K. uulu N. has been placed in the temporary detention center of the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Osh. Operational activities continue regarding two other suspects.
The investigation is ongoing.
