According to the police, a local resident named A.B., born in 2004, reported to the police that he was being blackmailed by individuals who introduced themselves as bloggers, demanding money under the threat of publishing compromising video.
As a result of operational and preventive measures carried out on February 13, two suspects were detained.
It became known that on February 10, around midnight, while in the parking lot of a building, they approached the victim, who was in a car with a girl, and claimed that they had recorded "indecent actions" on video. To avoid having this video posted online, they demanded 100,000 soms.
Under the pressure of threats, the victim transferred 50,000 soms to an account in M-Bank, while the remaining amount was demanded to be handed over later, with threats of releasing the video.
The detention occurred on February 13, when the suspects attempted to receive 500 dollars in cash.
The arrested individuals were placed in a temporary detention facility. Their names are S.M., a resident of Osh, born in 2005, and Ch. uulu B., born in 2002, from the Kara-Suu district.
The police are also investigating possible connections between the detainees and other similar crimes and are urging citizens who have fallen victim to their actions to contact them at 0990 95 70 00 or 102.
