

According to information received from a 22-year-old local resident, the fraudsters, pretending to be bloggers, began to threaten him with the publication of compromising video footage on social media if he did not pay.
According to the investigation, on February 10, at night, in an underground parking lot on A. Shakirov Street, the suspects approached their victim, who was in a car with a girl. They claimed to have video evidence of his "unacceptable behavior" and demanded 100,000 soms to refrain from making the recording public.

As a result of the threats, the victim transferred 50,000 soms to an account in M-Bank. The remaining amount was demanded by the criminals by February 12, threatening to post the video online.
During the "Bandit" operation conducted on February 13 by the officers of the Extremism and Illegal Migration Combat Service of the Osh City Department of Internal Affairs, the suspects were arrested while receiving $500 in cash.
A criminal case has been initiated against the detainees under Article 208, Part 2 (extortion) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. In accordance with Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, they have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The detainees are:
- S.M., a 21-year-old resident of Osh, currently unemployed;
- Ch. uulu B., a 24-year-old resident of the Kara-Suu district.
Investigative actions are ongoing, and a possible connection of the detainees with other similar crimes is being checked.
